WIP: Whales and a Tick

Like the last two drawings, everything was done from scratch but was referred from the original design.

The same style of shading and lighting is still the same. - creating multiple layers with different shades of the same colour and use eraser to create the effect (feathered, opacity and flow <20)

Then, using this image

with a series of blending option, hue/saturation modifications (image > adjustment > hue/saturation)

we then placed it above the hair

Different brushes were used to create the flowers and bubbles.

Then adding a little effect using filter gallery > sumi-e effect.

Then, using picture of clouds

Taking only 1/4 from the bottom, add it to the original work space (duplicate 2 layers) and use overlay and multiply effect (both with opacity less than 30).

now adding other elements to create balance and harmony in terms of colours!

and for the background, I've used checkered floor and brick wall stock photos to create a darker background. both are taken from google.com

Using overlay technique on the brick wall and hue/saturation to create a certain pattern for the background.

On the floor, there's a reflection which i had the layers with the maid and purple lady duplicated, rotated and opacity lower than 50.

then using filter once again. I've used texture > canvas.
